Piano Students Assaulted By Teacher, Bucks County DA Says
A Bucks County piano instructor is accused of sexually assaulting four of his young male students under the guise of “warmups” during their private lessons, authorities announced.
Timothy James Shay, 49, of Plumstead Township, was arrested and arraigned on Friday, Feb. 14, on four counts each of indecent assault of a child under 13 and corruption of minors. Magisterial District Judge John T. Galloway set his bail at $1 million, 10 percent, and he was sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

An accused online predator who victimized children across the United States and Canada has been arrested in West Virginia, Bucks County authorities announced on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
Mark Wills, 60, of Hulmeville, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force at the Meadowbrook Mall in Bridgeport, West Virginia at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, according to Robert Clark, Supervisory Deputy U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

An already incarcerated 31-year-old man was sentenced to more prison time after pleading guilty to the overdose-related death of another inmate, the Buck County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Allen Rhoades, 31, of Doylestown, was sentenced to seven to 20 years in prison for providing the drugs that led to the death of Joshua Patterson, 22, of Philadelphia, while both men were serving time on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, the DA's Office detailed in a release.
