Michael J. Lupacckino, 63, is accused of abusing the 24-year-old victim over several months at his home in Wildwood Crest, according to police paperwork obtained by Daily Voice.

Wildwood Crest police began investigating on Monday, March 17, after the man reported ongoing sexual assaults, Detective Corporal Pastor said in the documents.

The victim told police he moved into Lupacckino's home on New Jersey Avenue in Wildwood Crest in October 2024, under the direction of his parole officer. Once living there, he said he was assaulted on a regular basis, police said.

The victim told detectives that Lupacckino forced him to perform oral sex and digitally penetrated him against his will, according to the criminal complaint. He also claimed that on at least one occasion, Lupacckino drugged him by lacing his coffee, causing him to pass out, police detailed in the complaint. When he woke up, he found Lupacckino on top of him and sexually assaulting him, police said.

Authorities said the victim provided investigators with text messages from Lupacckino that were sexual in nature.

The victim confided in a friend, who later told police that the victim had disclosed multiple sexual assaults between October 2024 and March 2025.

Authorities obtained a search warrant for Lupacckino’s home, an RV in the driveway, and his person, police said.

Inside, officers found numerous bottles of lubricant, condoms, male same-sex pornography, unidentified prescription medications, various unlabeled pills, multiple electronic devices, and sex toys, according to police records.

The most recent assault occurred on Thursday, March 13, police said.

Lupacckino, who also owns a property in Gilbertsville, PA, where the victim said he was also assaulted, is facing multiple charges, according to the criminal complaint.

The Cape May County prosecutor announced charges against Lupacckino on Thursday, March 20: Aggravated Sexual Assault, a crime of the first degree; Sexual Assault, a crime of the second degree and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree.
