Driver Injured When Car Slams Into Garage In York County: Officials A driver was taken to the hospital after striking the side of a garage on Thursday morning, Aug. 8.  The sedan pictured struck the detached garage in the 3500 block of Shaffers Church Road in Codorus Township at 6:49 a.m., the Glen Rock Hose & Ladder Company detailed in a release.   No one was in the home but the driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, York County Department of Emergency Services explained.  Community Fire Co. of Seven Valleys and York County ATR assisted at the scene which cleared in about two hours.  The …

Tractor-Trailer Rollover Blocks Ramp On Rt 22: PennDOT A tractor-trailer rolled onto its side is blocking the on-ramp to Route 22 on Monday morning, Aug. 5., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The tractor-trailer appears to have flipped exactly in front of the on-ramp from Elmerton Avenue to North Cameron Street/Route 22 Northbound near Wildwood Drive around 6:40 a.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA traffic cameras.  A crane came to the area and stood the vehicle upright around 9:40 a.m., but the area was still closed.  No injuries were reported.  Check back here for updates.

The call to the train versus car collision at the railroad crossing in the 2500 block of Horse Road in Upper Leacock Township came into LCWC around 4 p.m. One person in the vehicle was taken to the hospital, and their injuries are reportedly minor.  The road was closed at 5:15 p.m. as emergency crews remained on the scene.
