The Lebanon community is rallying for the Navarre and Miller families after a fire killed an infant, and burned three children under 5 years old and a grandmother, according to a GoFundMe verified by Daily Voice on Monday, Sept. 16. The fire broke out in the second floor of the Navarre home located in the 1300 block of Brandywine Street in Lebanon at 9:52 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, as Daily Voice previously reported. Teen Girl Stuck Farm Equipment Airlifted: PA State Police (

An 18-year-old farm worker was airlifted on Monday, Sept. 16 after getting stuck in a corn binder machine, authorities said. The girl was injured on the 300 block of Wilson Mill Road in Lower Oxford, according to Pennsylvania State Police. She was in stable condition after getting stuck at about 11 a.m., Corporal Travis Hill of the Avondale Station said. Hill did not know what part of her got stuck in the machine. Her name was not released. More details are expected from PSP later Monday. Check back for updates.

Twin brothers caught stealing beer assaulted an officer in the Poconos, police announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Xaziver and Gabriel Valle, both 19-year-old Tobyhanna residents were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, Mountain Regional Police detailed in the release. Staff at the Weis Market located at 601 PA-940 Ste 116, Mt Pocono, called the police after Xaziver was seen putting beverages in a backpack, according to the release. A child is dead and five other people — including four children — were hurt in a fire in Lebanon City on Friday morning Sept. 13, officials explained. A child under the age of five died at the scene of the fire in the 1300 block of Brandywine Street, officials said. Four other children were injured and an elderly woman was medically evacuated by helicopter from the scene to Hershey Medical Center.
