The fatal officer-involved shooting of 39-year-old Andrew Ward outside the Northwest Regional Police Station in Elizabethtown earlier this month has been deemed justified, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Police Name Three Victims Of Weekend Homicides In Philadelphia
Authorities have identified three people killed in three separate shootings across Philadelphia over the weekend. The 59-year-old woman killed in Kensington on Friday afternoon, June 28 was Gladys Rivera-Perez, city police said. Rivera-Perez was sitting on her porch when an argument broke out between "teenage females" on the 3400 block of Tampa Street, investigators believe. Philly Teen Arrested, Suspects Wanted In Fight Near Atlantic City Boardwalk: Police
A Philadelphia teen was arrested and several other people were wanted in a fight near the Atlantic City Boardwalk, authorities said. Joseph Miller, 19, was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and possession of a large-capacity magazine, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release.
