28-Year-Old Woman Shot In Face In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A gunshot victim was rushed to the hospital early Sunday, June 30, according to Philadelphia police.  Authorities said the 28-year-old woman was struck in the face on the 4700 block of Longshore Avenue in Tacony around 12:45 a.m. A private vehicle took her to Nazareth Hospital before she was transferred to Temple University Hospital, PPD said.  The motive remains unknown and no arrest has been made, officials said Sunday. Detectives continue to investigate.

Head-On Crash Kills Two Drivers In North Philadelphia: Police Two men have died after a car crash in Philadelphia early Tuesday morning, June 25, city police say.  Authorities said it happened around 1:40 a.m. A southbound sedan on North Broad Street collided head-on with a northbound Toyota Rav 4 near West Hunting Park Avenue, according to PPD.  Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Neither man was identified but police said the driver of the Toyota was 46 years old.  An investigation is ongoing.

Allentown Shooting Sends 'Juvenile' To Hospital, Police Say A juvenile was shot and injured in Allentown on Thursday afternoon, June 13, city police say.  Shots rang out near North Nagle and West Allen streets around 3:30 p.m. Authorities arrived at the scene to find the victim with a single gunshot wound, according to APD.  First responders rendered aid at the scene and took the victim to an area hospital, police said.
