Mugshot Released As Family Speaks Out On Arrest In Schuylkill River Murder
A mugshot has been released of the man arrested in the shooting death of Joshua Daywalt, whose body was found in the Schuylkill River earlier this year, Philadelphia police announced Tuesday, April 29.
On Friday, February 7, 2025, at approximately 10:17 a.m., police responded to a report of a body floating in the Schuylkill River near Kelly Drive and Midvale Avenue. The body was discovered by a passerby and recovered with the assistance of the Philadelphia Fire Department. Upon recovery, an unidentified white male was pronounced dead on scene by Medic at 10:56 a.m.
