7 Killed In Separate Crashes Involving Same Small Plane Aircraft Model
Seven people were killed within hours in separate small plane crashes in the Midwest over the weekend. A Cessna 180 went down into the Platte River in Fremont, Nebraska, at about 8:45 p.m. local time Friday, April 18, resulting in the deaths of all three passengers, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office reported that the aircraft was traveling along the river about 40 miles northwest of Omaha when it unexpectedly went down. Fallen Tree Pulls Powerlines Down Closing Road In Doylestown: Police
A roadway is closed to all traffic due to a downed tree involving multiple power lines, Doylestown police said. Pebble Hill Road is blocked to all traffic at its intersection with Turk Road at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, according to the Doylestown Township Police Department. Police suggest drivers find an alternate route. Approximately 108 PECO customers and 218 PPL Customers are without power in Bucks County, no estimates for when the power would come back on were available.
