A bible study teacher confessed to assaulting a 7-year-old girl while in church, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Sept. 27. Michael Todd Hess, 49, of Quarryville supposedly admitted to the assaults that happened in a church pew of the sanctuary at New Providence Church of God in Providence Township, Pennsylvania State Police explained in the affidavit citing the investigator's interview. Daily Voice has received the mugshot of a 37-year-old Pennsylvania man accused of arranging a sexual encounter with a child under 16 years old at a New Jersey hotel. Thomas G. A horse-and-buggy crash closed part of PA 340 in Lancaster County on Thursday evening, Sept. 19, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice. Teen Girl Stuck Farm Equipment Airlifted: PA State Police (

An 18-year-old farm worker was airlifted on Monday, Sept. 16 after getting stuck in a corn binder machine, authorities said. The girl was injured on the 300 block of Wilson Mill Road in Lower Oxford, according to Pennsylvania State Police. She was in stable condition after getting stuck at about 11 a.m., Corporal Travis Hill of the Avondale Station said. Hill did not know what part of her got stuck in the machine. A fatal crash closed Interstate 76/ PA Turnpike for over five hours on Saturday, Sept. 14 officials confirmed to Daily Voice the following Monday. The deadly three-vehicle crash happened at mile marker 268.4 in Penn Township, Lancaster County around 11:30 a.m., officials detailed. PA State Police Respond To Threats Across Mulitple School Districts
Threats have prompted Pennsylvania State Police to increase their presence in schools across multiple districts, PSP Troop M PIO Nathan Branosky told Daily Voice on Friday, Sept. 13.
