'Despicable' Man Sentenced For Raping Bucks County Teenager: Judge Calling him “despicable,” a Bucks County judge sentenced a Sellersville man to 12 ½ years to 25 years in Pennsylvania State Prison for the rape of a 15-year-old girl in Quakertown, authorities said. Miguel Angel Sanchez, 33, was sentenced on Monday, Aug. 26, according to the Bucks County District Attorney. Firefighters Rescue Child In Car At Parking Lot Outside East Drumore Giant Quarryville firefighters rescued a child locked in a car Thursday, Aug. 15.  The company received the call to the child locked in a vehicle at 4:05 p.m. They were found locked in the SUV pictured in the parking lot outside of the Giant grocery store in East Drumore Township.  No injuries were reported. It is not immediately clear how the child ended up locked in the vehicle.  Check back here for possible updates.

Pedestrian, Driver Hospitalized In Palmer Township Crash: Authorities A crash in a Giant parking lot sent two people to the hospital Monday morning, June 17, according to Palmer police.  Authorities were called to the 801 S. 25th Street store around 11:15 a.m. Police said a driver accelerated through the parking lot and hit a pedestrian before striking a pillar in front of the store. The pedestrian, 18, was hospitalized with "moderate" injuries.  The driver was trapped in her car and extricated by Palmer firefighters, authorities said.
