Cody Allen Balmer, 38, of Harrisburg, remains under Pennsylvania State Police supervision while receiving treatment at an area hospital. Blaze Causes Severe Damage To Bucks County Home: Fire Marshal
A fire did severe damage to a Bucks County home on Wednesday morning, Nov. 6, according to the Bristol Township fire marshal. The fire happened in the 600 block of Saxony Drive, according to Levittown Fire Company No. 2 in a Facebook post. A second floor bedroom was destroyed in the blaze, and there was extensive heat and smoke damage throughout the rest of the second floor, Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito told Daily Voice via email. A Montgomery County home was declared to be a total loss following what started as a garage fire on Sunday, Oct. 27, according to authorities. The home, located at 401 Shipwrighter Way in Towamencin Township was a total loss due to fire and water damage, according to Towamencin Township Fire Marshal Bill Oettinger. Fire companies from four Pennsylvania counties battled a blaze at a barn and house fire late Friday night, Oct. 18 into Saturday morning, officials with Elverson-Honey Brook Area EMS announced.
