PA Dad Charged In DUI Crash That Killed Wife, Injured Son: Police (Update)
An Exton man is facing serious charges after a DUI crash killed his wife and injured their 3-year-old son in Chester County, authorities announced on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Anukul Damodaran, 38, was allegedly behind the wheel when his car veered off North Ship Road, overturned, and landed about 10 feet into the woods on Saturday, Aug. 23, West Whiteland Township police said.
His wife, Uthra Manivannan, also known as Priyadharshni, was killed in the crash. Their 3-year-old son, Mayon, survived but suffered a fractured shoulder that will require surgery, according to family.

A Chester County man is accused of abusing his 3-month-old daughter in Exton, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice on Friday, Aug. 29.
Nicholas Edward Moore, 26, was arrested after investigators determined the infant had sustained bruising to her shoulders, arm, ear, and face inside a home on the 100 block of Shoen Road on Tuesday, Aug. 19, the affidavit states.

A 16-year-old girl from Oxford Borough has been reported missing after she failed to return home from school on Wednesday, Dec. 6, authorities announced.
Wendy Azuceli Ester XoTec was last seen after attending classes at Collegium Charter School, located at 456 Creamery Way, Exton, Pennsylvania, police said in a release on Thursday, Dec. 12.
XoTec, who was born in Guatemala, was confirmed present at school that morning, but she did not board the afternoon bus home, according to the Oxford Borough Police Department.
