220 Bags Of Fentanyl, Loaded Gun Seized In Drug Bust: Berks DA
A Reading man was arrested after a raid turned up hundreds of bags of fentanyl and a loaded gun, the Berks County District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday, July 24.
Christian Vazquez-Perez, 30, was taken into custody when detectives served a search warrant at his home on the 500 block of Mulberry Street around 9:20 a.m., the DA’s Drug Task Force said.
Inside, authorities seized:
220 packets of fentanyl,
A fully loaded Palmetto State Armory 9mm semi-automatic pistol,
An Ohaus digital scale,
Packaging materials,
A small bag containing suspected cocaine,

A Maryland man is accused of uploading child sexual abuse material to KIK Messenger from a home in Pennsylvania, investigators announced on Friday, June 27.
Daniel J. Huber, 34, of Abingdon, Maryland, previously of Muhlenberg, Pennsylvania, was arrested after a multi-complaint investigation by the Berks County District Attorney’s Office, according to Chief County Detective Michael J. Gombar.

Delco Man Arrested With Drugs, Guns In Months-Long Narc Probe: Police
A Delaware County man was arrested after authorities found drugs, guns, and money in his home following a four-month-long narcotics investigation, police said.
Edward Plumley, 48, of Aldan, was previously identified by the Delaware County Narcotics Task Force as a drug trafficker, according to the Marple Township Police Department.
Plumley, who had been distributing drugs in and around Marple Township, had his residence searched under warrant by the narcotics task force on Thursday, Oct. 10, police said.

Girl Waiting For School Bus Robbed In Cheltenham: Police
A schoolgirl was the victim of a strong-armed robbery while she was waiting for her bus in Cheltenham Township, the police announced on Friday, Sept. 27.
The girl was waiting for a school bus on Asbury Avenue when a black Kia sedan approached her, the Cheltenham Township Police Department explained. A man in the vehicle called the girl over to the car, threatened her, and grabbed her cell phone from her hands.
After stealing the cell phone, the vehicle fled the scene, according to police. The girl, who wasn't injured in the incident, called 911, and reported the crime.
