PA Woman Found Stuffed In Garbage Can Was Executed With Gunshot To Head: Police A woman found stuffed inside a garbage can along a Philadelphia highway had been executed with a gunshot to the head, and police say they’ve arrested her killer, according to the release on Friday, Feb. 28. Officers responded to the 700 block of North 47th Street at 9:42 a.m. on Jan. 30 after a passerby made the grim discovery, authorities said. State Police Name Carbon County Man Found In Lehigh River (Updated) A Jim Thorpe man was found dead in the Lehigh River on Monday, July 1, according to state troopers.  Authorities said 33-year-old Felix Dejesus was previously reported as missing and endangered by borough police before his remains were found around noon.  The investigation is ongoing and there is no danger to the public, state police said.  "Updates will be provided as to not jeopardize the integrity of the investigation," said Trooper Anthony Petroski of PSP's Hazleton Station in a statement on Tuesday, July 2.
