A man was found dead in a Pennsylvania creek after failing to return home from a routine fishing trip, authorities announced.
William O. Arner, 87, of Heidelberg Township, was discovered face down in Jordan Creek beneath the Geiger Covered Bridge in North Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, and pronounced dead at the scene at 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, according to the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the deadly West York shooting that left 23-year-old O’Shea Copeland dead and another man seriously injured, authorities announced on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
The York County District Attorney’s Office said Donald Dent Jr., 24, and James Johnson, 43, both of York City, have been charged in the Aug. 15 shooting on the first block of South Highland Avenue in West York Borough.

John A. Pollard Jr. of South Amboy, NJ, was found dead on the Route 22 eastbound off-ramp to Route 512 North just after 6 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, Pennsylvania State Police said.
He had been hit by a vehicle and died at the scene, the Northampton County Coroner’s Office said in a statement Thursday morning, Aug. 7.
