New information released for numerous serious Lehigh County crashes included surprising details about the death of a CEO who worked in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Lehigh County Coroner, Police Called Out To Upper Macungie Home: Authorities
The Lehigh County Coroner was called to an Upper Macungie Township home on Wednesday, Oct. 9, according to authorities. There was a large police presence in the area of the 200 block of Kristin Lane, according to 6abc News. Calls placed by Daily Voice to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office and the Upper Macungie Township Police Department confirmed those authorities were at the location, but no further details were available at the time this story was published. Coroner IDs Driver Killed When Car Overturns In Embankment In Lehigh County
A 66-year-old motorist was killed when their vehicle slid off the roadway and went down an embankment Saturday night, Oct. 5, officials said. Stephen La Pierre, of Upper Macungie Township, was operating the vehicle that went off the roadway on Tilghman Street and into an embankment, overturning and ejecting him around 10 p.m., Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said. The cause of death is Multiple Blunt Force Injuries. The manner of death is Accident.
