A Bethlehem man was stabbed four times by his neighbor, who appeared to be intoxicated at the time, according to a police release. A caller told police that her husband had been stabbed in the backyard of a residence in the 600 block of Atlantic Street at 8:26 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, the Bethlehem Police Department said. Officers found the man with four stab wounds to his upper back and neck, according to police. He was taken to an area hospital. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening. Twin brothers caught stealing beer assaulted an officer in the Poconos, police announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Xaziver and Gabriel Valle, both 19-year-old Tobyhanna residents were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, Mountain Regional Police detailed in the release. A convicted killer who eluded authorities for nearly two weeks last year in Pennsylvania has pleaded guilty to escape charges, authorities said. A nationwide manhunt for Danilo Cavalcante, 35, a native of Brazil, ended on Sept. 13, 2023, with his capture. He was found hiding under foliage within a search perimeter in northern Chester County, as previously reported by Daily Voice. The 16-year-old who climbed a fence at Berks County detention center over the weekend has been arrested, state police said Thursday, July 11.
