Early Morning Fire Forces Evacuation At York Township Apartment Complex An early morning fire forced an evacuation at an apartment complex in York Township, authorities announced on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Fire crews responded to the multi-unit housing complex on the 500 block of Green Meadows Drive, near South Duke Street, around 3 a.m., according to the York County Regional Police Department. All residents were safely evacuated as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames, police said. No injuries were immediately reported. Elderly Woman Crashes Into York Township Medical Office: Police A woman attempting to park in a handicap spot crashed her SUV into a York Township medical office on Wednesday morning, Feb. 19, police said. Northern York County Regional Police were called to the 200 block of St. Charles Way at 7:30 a.m. after reports of a vehicle slamming into a commercial building. Investigators said the elderly driver lost control and hit the brick wall of the office at 224 St. Charles Way. Teen Missing In York County, Police Say A 15-year-old girl is missing, the York County Regional Police Department announced on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 5.  Lauren Livingston was last seen leaving her home in York Township around 10:45 p.m. on June 4, the police detailed in the release.
