Four officers were injured, and four people are in custody after an illegal car meetup in Wynnefield Heights turned violent, Philadelphia police said. The incident began just before midnight on Saturday, Jan. 13, when police responded to an illegal car meetup in front of the Target on Monument Road in Wynnefield Heights, authorities said. PA Woman Kills Teen By Crashing Stolen Car Through Red Light: Affidavit
A Philadelphia woman has been charged with killing another teenager after running a red light and crashing a stolen vehicle in Montgomery County, authorities said. Asiyah Sara Mowatt-Mays, 18, was charged with homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, receiving stolen property and other charges related to the July 29 crash that killed a 15-year-old boy and injured two others, authorities said.
