A 21-year-old man who was a former popular Hagerstown Youth Hockey Association player died in a car crash in Waynesboro on Sunday, officials announced on June 24. Benjamin "Ben" Browall of Waynesboro, PA previously of Hagerstown, MD, was the passenger in a 2002 Subaru sedan driven by Kirkland M. A 1-year-old girl is in the hospital – along with another Amish child and two adults – following a horse-and-buggy crash, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Sunday, June 23. The crash began when 83-year-old Charles R. Shannon attempted to drive his 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe around the horse-and-buggy driven by 73-year-old George D. Suspect On Loose After Wild Chase Starting In Dauphin County: PA State Police
One suspect is still on the loose after a wild pursuit across two counties in Central Pennsylvania, according to a State Police release on Wednesday. Two men were spotted trying to break into a vehicle at the Ciocca Honda dealership located at 8001 Allentown Boulevard, West Hanover Township, around 5:45 a.m. on June 5, troopers detailed. A 22-year-old driving a Kia was shot at along US Route 30 on Monday evening, the Northern York County Regional Police Department announced the following day. Shots were fired at a 2007 Kia SUV on US Route 30 East just east of Breezeview Drive on June 3, NYCRPD detailed in the release. A mom driving her 4-year-old daughter struck a girl on a bicycle leaving her with "severe head injuries," the West Lampeter Township Police announced on Friday afternoon.
