Man ID’d After Fatal Head-On Route 30 Crash With Tractor-Trailer: PA State Police
The man killed in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer on Route 30 has been identified, Pennsylvania State Police announced Saturday, Sept. 19.
Robert F. Stevens, 77, of Glen Rock, York County, died in the crash near 9823 Lincoln Way West in St. Thomas Township, Franklin County, at 4:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, according to state police in Chambersburg.
Stevens was driving a 2013 Dodge Caravan east when he crossed the double yellow line into the westbound lane for an unknown reason, police said.

Teen In Custody After Man Targeted, Shot Dead In Pennsylvania: Police
A teenager is in custody after a man was targeted in a fatal shooting in Pennsylvania, police announced Saturday, Sept. 19.
Alex Montes-Rivera, 19, was charged Friday, Sept. 18, in connection with the shooting that killed Daniel Matos, 33, of Lebanon, according to the Lebanon City Police Department.
Montes-Rivera faces charges of homicide, flight to avoid apprehension, and firearms not to be carried without a license, police said.
He was in police custody as of Saturday morning, according to the update. Police did not release details about where or how he was taken into custody.

A man ran into traffic on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, caused a two-vehicle crash that injured both drivers, and then hid in a nearby marsh, state police told Daily Voice.
Andrew Chase Riehl, 24, of Ephrata, was running westbound through the eastbound lanes of Interstate 76 near mile marker 285.4 in East Cocalico Township around 9:27 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, according to Pennsylvania State Police Cpl. Richard Levan.

A person fell overboard into the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, prompting a search near Hill Island involving boats, drones, and a State Police helicopter on Friday, Sept. 18, emergency dispatch said.
