Former NJ Cop Killed, 1 Airlifted In Pike County Snowmobile Crash The Paterson Police Department is mourning the loss of recently retired officer Anthony DeSopo, who was killed in a snowmobile accident in Pennsylvania on Friday, Feb. 7. He was 55 years old. DeSopo, of Totowa, and another man were riding snowmobiles on Lake Wallenpaupack in Pike County when they collided with the lake's rocky shoreline near Cove Road and North Hemlock Lane in Palmyra Township around 6 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police said. Milford Man Solicited Child For 'Explicit Photos', Police Say A Milford man was recently charged for soliciting explicit photographs of a child, police announced on Saturday, Sept. 28. Rashaad K. Taylor, 28, of Milford, was arrested in Pike County, on Sept. 20, according to the police.  The arrest comes following an investigation into alleged unlawful contact with minors, the Slate Belt Regional Police Department said.
