Tornado Watch Shifts, Now Covers These Counties Across NJ, PA As Debby Creeps In The National Weather Service has shifted its tornado watch across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as Hurricane Debby creeps in. In New Jersey, the tornado watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and covers Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in North Jersey. In Pennsylvania, the tornado watch is issued in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, and Bucks counties. Two boys, a 17-year-old from Philadelphia and a 16-year-old from Ivyland, PA, turned themselves in to North Wildwood police, the department said in a news release on Thursday, June 27. Police posted two pictures of the suspects on Facebook on Sunday, June 9.  The teens were wanted in an incident on Saturday, June 8 near the corner of East 26th Avenue and the Boardwalk. Fallan Turner, 43, was arrested on Monday, June 17, the Wildwood Crest Police Department said in a news release. Officers responded to a report of a fight at a motel on the 6200 block of Ocean Avenue at around 2:29 p.m. Investigators said Turner was "highly intoxicated" when she grabbed an unrelated 10-year-old boy, swung him around in the pool, and dunked him underwater. Erratic Jet Ski Operator Fled Marine Units At NJ Beach, Cops Say — Now They Want To Find Him A jet ski operator who jetted away from police when they stopped him on Memorial Day Weekend is now being sought by authorities, who are enlisting the public to help. New Jersey State Police Marine Units stopped the operator of an erratic blue Yamaha around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at the bathing beach in Lower Township in Cape May County, the department said.
