New details have been released in a July 2024 crash that left a 78-year-old man dead in Bucks County. Nicholas Toth, 43, was arrested and charged for causing the crash that resulted in the death of the other driver, Michael Maddock, just before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16, the Warminster Township Police Department said. A missing Cheltenham woman may be in danger, according to an alert from the Cheltenham Township Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Madelyn Edwards, 81, was last seen in the area of Old Farm Road, Cheltenham Township at 12 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, police said. She's described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall, 110 pounds, with black hair, and brown eyes. Two Bucks County men were convicted on Friday, Sept. 20 of trying to steal a deed from a dead man and other financial crimes, authorities said. Alan Kane, 59, of Jamison, and Derrell Johnson, 42, of Bensalem, were found guilty after a trial for multiple fraud schemes, said U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. : Lansdale Motorcyclist Killed In Bucks County, Police Say
A 68-year-old motorcyclist from Montgomery County was killed Monday, Sept. 9 in Bucks County, authorities said. Tinicum Township police were dispatched to Geigel Hill and Cafferty roads at about 4:30 p.m. to investigate a motorcycle crash. The unidentified driver from Lansdale died of his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, police said.
