Woman Struck By School Bus In Critical Condition: Philly Police A 75-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a school bus on a Philadelphia street, police announced on Tuesday, Oct. 22. The woman was walking west on Chelten Avenue in the crosswalk at Chew Avenue at 3:01 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. At the same time, a school bus was going east in the 5700 block of Chelten Avenue and making a left turn onto Chew Avenue, police said. That's when the bus struck the woman in the crosswalk. Armed Standoff Ends With Arrest In Horsham: Police (Update) One suspect was arrested following a barricade situation in Horsham on Tuesday morning, June 11, authorities say.  Police said they were called about a domestic dispute on Horseshoe Circle around 4:30 a.m. A woman fled her home and went to a neighbor's house, telling police she had been physically assaulted and threatened with a rifle, according to officials.  Officers were initially unable to make contact with the suspect and declared a barricade situation.
