Loud Nuclear Siren Test Rings Out in Pottstown Residents of Pottstown and surrounding areas were alerted by the full-volume test of the emergency warning sirens from the Limerick Generating Station on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at 2 p.m. This semi-annual test, conducted on the first Mondays of June and December, ensures the functionality of the siren system within a 10-mile radius of the plant.
