Flames Shoot Out Chimney Of Lancaster County Home (Photos) Flames shot out of a chimney in Lancaster County early Monday morning, Oct. 28, fire officials announced. The chimney fire broke out in the 200 block of Center Road in East Drumore Township at 5:42 a.m. while Robert Fulton Fire Company crews were already assisting the Quarryville Fire Company on the scene of a four acre wood fire, officials explained. Robert Fulton Truck 57 and Rescue 57 responded from station, and Engine 574 freed up from the woods fire also went to the scene. Man Rescued From Cave In Central PA: Officials (Photos) Numerous emergency crews rescued a man "who was wedged in a crevice, deep inside the Wind Cave at the Clark Nature Preserve" on Saturday night into Sunday morning, officials explained to Daily Voice on Monday, Sept. 9.  The man was rescued after 1 a.m. after over five and a half hours stuck in the cave, rescue workers explained.  Crews were called to the scene at the Clark Nature Preserve Bridge Valley Road in Martic Township 6:12 p.m.  The cave posed numerous challenges: dark, narrow, slippery conditions within Wind Cave. Amish Farm Rescue 30 Feet Up Barn Rafters In Bart Township (Photos) A man having a "medical issue" in the rafters of a tobacco barn on an Amish farm was rescued on Friday morning, Aug. 16, authorities said.  Firefighters were called to the farm rescue in the 1700 block of Georgetown Road in Bart Township at 8:52 a.m. on Friday, according to a release by the Quarryville Fire Company and Lancaster County Wide Communications.  Crews from both the Quarryville and Bart Township fire companies responded.
