Hit-Run Leaves Woman On Scooter Lying In Roadway By PA Chili's, Police Say A woman who had been riding a scooter outside of Chili's in York was truck by a passing vehicle that fled the scene, West Manchester Township Police announced on Thursday, Aug. 29.  The police arrived at the Chili's located at 1295 Carlisle Road in York to find the woman lying in the northbound traffic lanes of the road in front of the restaurant at 3:51 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, as detailed in the police release.  The woman "was conscious and able to answer questions," the police said, "She advised the investigating officers that she had been riding an electric scooter before imp…

PA Mom Missing Over 24 Hours, Police Say A mom has been missing since Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, West Lampeter Township police announced on Thursday afternoon.  Candace Mulron, 45, of West Lampeter Township was last seen in the area of Bank Barn Road, West Lampeter Township, around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28, the police detailed in the release.  She was wearing a blue striped shirt and blue jeans at the time of her disappearance.  She is a mom, according to public records.  Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the West Lampeter Township Police Department at 717-464-2421.

On Sunday, Aug. 11, at about 5:20 p.m., Carlisle Police and Fire Departments responded to a building fire at the Gingerbread Man Bar on Courthouse Avenue.  The fire caused extensive damage to the trash bin area and walk-in cooler area for the bar. Man With Drug Warrant Flees Police In Lycoming County A 40-year-old man was arrested for fleeing police in Lycoming County, authorities said. Michael Charles Devan had been stopped on Aug. 20 by Williamsport police near West Fourth and Campbell streets. During a traffic stop, Devan learned that he had an active felony drug warrant, police said. Devan accelerated away and fled from police for over a mile through residential areas of the city, exceeding speeds of 60 mph, police said. 'Decomposed Body Discovered Hanging From Tree,' In Pennsylvania, Police Say "A decomposed body was discovered hanging from a tree in the woods," Philadelphia Police announced on Sunday, Aug. 25.  Police were called to a report of a body in a tree in the 1400 block of North 66th Street at 9:47 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25.  The person was officially pronounced dead at 9:50 a.m. by Medic 41.
