Man Dies After Medical Event Leads To Route 33 Crash: Northampton Coroner A 67-year-old man from Buckingham Township, Bucks County, died after a crash along Route 33 in Northampton County, the coroner’s office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 26. Jerome J. Ozovek suffered a medical event, leading to the crash on the northbound off-ramp to Main Street at the Tatamy Exit in Palmer Township on Monday, Nov. 25, according to Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek. Ozovek was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital, Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township, where he was pronounced dead. The coroner ruled the cause of death as natural due to a medical event. Lancaster Kayaker Found Dead In Swatara Creek: Harrisburg Officials A 44-year-old kayaker was found dead in Swatara Creek, the Dauphin County Coroner's Office confirmed Friday morning.  The Lancaster man was kayaking with friends when "he appears to have had a medical event," on Thursday, June 13, according to the coroner's release.  A life jacket was reportedly on the boat but was not on the man when he was found shortly after 9 p.m., officials explained.  "The Coroner’s Office is now working to ensure that all family members are notified before releasing his name," Dauphin County Press Secretary Diane McNaughton said.
