Deadly Shooting Under Investigation In Harrisburg: Police
One man was shot and killed in Harrisburg early Friday, July 5, city police say. Officers responded to gunfire on the 1100 block of North 3rd Street around 1:30 a.m., authorities said in a release. They rendered aid to the victim at the scene and he later died from his wounds, officials wrote. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 717-558-6900. Anthony Garvin, of Netcong, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm and lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, PA, a spokesperson for the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said following the Thursday, June 28 incident.
