Ronda Meckley, 65, of Manheim Township, was discovered inside the vehicle near Hoffacker Road and Gabco Lane after firefighters extinguished the flames around midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 25, according to the York County Coroner’s Office. The fire broke out on Route 30 Westbound as it splits into Route 283 Westbound in Manheim Township around 9 a.m., according to Lancaster County Wide Communications. Fire crews swiftly responded and were able to extinguish the flames, officials said. No injuries were reported, dispatch confirmed. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
