A 64-year-old Germansville man was killed in a motorcycle crash with a deer in Lehigh County on Monday morning, Oct. 1, Pennsylvania State Police said. Frederick R. Brauchle III, of Heidelberg Township, was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area of 4842 Mountain Road in Washington Township when he crashed into a deer at 5 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. A 17-year-old boy from Fleetwood died on Friday, Sept. 20, three days after the car he was a back-seat passenger in struck a tractor-trailer, his family said. Teen Girl Stuck Farm Equipment Airlifted: PA State Police (

An 18-year-old farm worker was airlifted on Monday, Sept. 16 after getting stuck in a corn binder machine, authorities said. The girl was injured on the 300 block of Wilson Mill Road in Lower Oxford, according to Pennsylvania State Police. She was in stable condition after getting stuck at about 11 a.m., Corporal Travis Hill of the Avondale Station said. Hill did not know what part of her got stuck in the machine.
