A suspected serial bank robber was apprehended moments after he fled the PNC Bank on Hulmeville Road with $4,000 in cash on Monday, Dec. 23, authorities announced on Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Marc Masich, 47, of Amherst, NY, was captured by officers outside the bank at 5:21 p.m. while carrying a gray-and-white bag containing the stolen money, according to Bensalem police.

A New Jersey man was convicted for arranging the 2022 arson of a Bensalem warehouse on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024, according to police.
Ramiz Duka, 61, of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, was convicted in federal court for conspiring to set fire to a warehouse located at 1388 Bridgewater Road in Bensalem on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022, the Bensalem Police Department said.
Duka recruited two men to set fire to the warehouse, paying them $15,000 to do so, according to police. Over the course of several weeks, the three men met and planned the arson, ultimately leading to the fire.

A 38-year-old man from Bucks County pleaded guilty to trafficking counterfeit opioid pills.
Robert Davis, 36, of Bensalem, pleaded guilty on Aug. 28, according to U.S. Attorney Jacqueline C. Romero.
The pills were meant to be used as props in films but were instead used by drug dealers billed as oxycodone or Xanax, Romero said.

Abel Mendoza-Ramirez, 31, who lives in the Bucks Meadows Apartments on Knights Road, had been arguing with the victim, Jose Miguel Tenorio-Ruiz, 40, around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, July 6 near the back parking lot when he went to his car, got a gun, and shot him dead, Bensalem police said.
