Stabbing At Trader Joe's Warehouse Leads To Worker's Arrest: PA State Police

A stabbing at a Trader Joe's Warehouse in Northampton County led to the arrest of a worker on Tuesday, Oct. 22, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Cristian Burgos Vasquez, 39, a worker at the warehouse located at 6835 Silver Crest Road, East Allen Township, stabbed a co-worker multiple times with a knife following a verbal argument, state police said in a news release.

Troopers from Troop M in Bethlehem arrived on scene, treated the victim's wounds, and arrested Vasquez at 6:49 p.m., according to the news release. The victim was then taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg.

Burgos Vasquez was charged with:

  • Felony Aggravated Assault - Attempts to Cause or Causes Bodily Injury with Deadly Weapon.

  • Summary Harassment - Subject Other to Physical Contact.

  • Misdemeanor Simple Assault.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 6, according to court documents. Burgos Vasquez is being held in Northampton County Prison on $75,000 bail.
