A man arrested for allegedly driving under the influence returned with a handgun to the police station and ended up being shot dead by an officer, authorities detailed in an updated release on Tuesday night, Nov. 12. An inmate — with two previous names and a lengthy criminal record under all three identities — has been killed by his prison cellmate in the State Correctional Institution at Camp Hill, Pennsylvania State Police, announced on Tuesday night. A 31-year-old woman who drowned while swimming at a state park has been identified, the York County Coroner announced on Thursday, June 27. Brittney Hoffman of the 700 block of Madison Avenue, York City, was found unresponsive in the Quaker Race Day Use swimming area of Gifford Pinchot State Park on Tuesday night, as explained by Chief Coroner Pam Gay.
