Girl Struck In Harrisburg Crosswalk: Dispatch

A girl was struck crossing the street on Tuesday morning, Oct. 15, according to the Dauphin County Department of Public Safety Emergency Communications Center.

The collision. happened at South 15th and Derry streets in Harrisburg at 7:48 a.m., according to emergency dispatchers. The intersection has four marked crosswalks but no lights as seen on Google Maps Street View.

EMS was called to the scene but the extent of the child's injuries was unavailable at the time of publishing. The girl's age was not released.

The striking vehicle remained on the scene, dispatch explained.
