A person fell overboard into the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania, prompting a search near Hill Island involving boats, drones, and a State Police helicopter on Friday, Sept. 18, emergency dispatch said.
The water rescue call was logged at 5:23 p.m. on East Hill Island Road in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, according to dispatch records.
Rescue crews began searching the river near the island after the person went overboard, dispatch said.

NYU Langone, Upmc To End Gender-Affirming Care For Minors In DOJ Deals
Two major New York and Pennsylvania health systems will stop providing gender-affirming medical care to minors under agreements reached with the US Department of Justice, federal officials announced Friday, Sept. 18.
NYU Langone Hospitals and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, or UPMC, agreed to stop providing puberty blockers, hormones, and surgical procedures to patients younger than 18, according to the DOJ.
NYU also agreed to pay $8.5 million, while UPMC will pay $950,000 as part of the resolutions, the department said.

Adrien Arocho, 24, of Bay Shore, NY, was arraigned Thursday, Sept. 17 in the killing of Yolandus Pratt, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said.
Arocho and a 17-year-old boy attacked Pratt at the Bay Shore Long Island Rail Road station around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, July 5, prosecutors said. Pratt, 34, also of Bay Shore, was found bleeding and unconscious at the scene by cops on patrol, according to authorities.
