Walsh. A Funeral Mass honoring Chief Walsh, who died in the line of duty last week, will take place at 10 a.m. at Saint Paul Cathedral on North Dithridge Street in Oakland. SEPTA Fare Increases, Service Cuts Could Happen To Transit Agencies Statewide: PA State Rep SEPTA is proposing major fare increases and cutting services due to budget problems, something that could soon happen to transit agencies across Pennsylvania, according to a state House representative. The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority announced significant fare increases and cuts to several of its services via a news release on Tuesday, Nov. 12.  The rising fare prices and service cuts are being made to help address the agency's $240 million annual budget deficit, the news release states. Lebanon Transit Offers Free Rides For Veterans During Veterans Day Week Veterans and active-duty service members in Lebanon County can ride fixed-route buses for free from Monday, Nov. 11, through Saturday, Nov. 16, in honor of Veterans Day, Lebanon Transit announced. Military riders in Lebanon County can travel at no cost on Lebanon Transit’s routes, simply by presenting a valid ID when boarding. To take advantage of the offer, eligible riders can show a variety of IDs, including a VA card, active-duty military card, retired military ID, a driver’s license with a veteran logo, or a DD214 discharge form.
