Fire Destroys PA House; Photos Show Intense Blaze
200 block of West Pine StreetA fire destroyed a home in Cumberland County on Wednesday morning, according to officials. Fire crews responded to a house fire on the 200 block of West Pine Street in South Middleton Township around 9:50 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered heavy flames and thick smoke engulfing the structure, as seen in photos from the scene. Details on possible injuries have not been released, but two people were displaced and assisted by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

An Amazon Delivery Driver spotted a house fire that ended up sending two firefighters to the hospital on Thursday, Oct. 31, officials say. After the Amazon Driver made the 911 call, firefighters from both Pennsylvania and Maryland were dispatched to the blaze at the home near Sunspot and Spur trails in Carroll Valley Borough at 2:25 p.m. They arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames, but thankfully no one was home. Two firefighters were taken to an area hospital for medical attention while battling the blaze. They have since been released.
