Guilty! Pennsylvania Kidnapper Bit, Pulled Hair Out Of Woman's Head
A Middletown man has been found guilty in a bizarre kidnapping case, the Dauphin County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
Bryan Edwin Perry, Jr., 37, was convicted of kidnapping, aggravated assault, intimidation of a witness, strangulation, and other charges on August 14, according to the DA's release. The conviction comes following a three-day trial.

Inmate Escapes Prison Work Release At Pennsylvania Walmart: Sheriff
A 46-year-old inmate escaped from the Cumberland County Prison during work release, the sheriff's office announced on Monday, Aug. 19.
William Kenneth Rosner, most recently of Lemoyne but previously of Philadelphia, Allentown, Northampton, and Harrisburg — is wanted on a felony escape charge after walking away from the Cumberland County Prison Work Release Center on Mondy morning, Aug. 19, the sheriff explained, and as detailed in court records.
His last known location was the Walmart in Carlisle, according to the sheriff's office.

A second teenager has been shot dead in Harrisburg in less than two days, police announced on Tuesday morning, Aug. 13.
Antoine M. Byers Jr., 17, of Harrisburg, died in the shooting, his family announced on Facebook.
The shooting happened in the 1700 block of Regina Street at the intersection of North 18th Street in Harrisburg around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, August 12, according to Harrisburg Police.

A cinema, a warehouse, and a church in the Harrisburg area have all closed after suffering severe damage due to the remnants of Tropical Storm Debby as it made its way across Pennsylvania.
Central Pennsylvania was hit hard by heavy rain and high winds on Thursday, Aug. 8.
