PA Mom Launches Fundraiser After Arson-Suicide Kills Husband, Injures Family A Lancaster Township woman has started a GoFundMe after her husband died in an arson-suicide that left two of their sons and a family guest critically injured. Sophan Duong, the wife of Simon Hen, created the fundraiser to support her family after the Sunday, Jan. 19 fire that destroyed their home on Wilderness Road. The fire, sparked during a domestic dispute, began when Hen, 46, poured gasoline throughout the upstairs of the house and set it ablaze, police said. Coroner Reveals Cause Of Death For Manheim Mom (Update) A 66-year-old mom of two has died following a house fire, authorities announced on Thursday, July 24.  Beth Hill Yanni, of the 2600 block of Lebanon Road in Manheim, Rapho Township, was taken to Lancaster General Hospital after "being caught in a fire at her residence," as written in the Lancaster County Coroner's report.  The fire broke out at her home around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24 — she was pronounced dead in the trauma bay at 9:39 p.m., the coroner explained.  Following an autopsy, her manner of death was ruled accidental and the cause was 'Smoke Inhalation and T…

Man ID'd After Fatal Fire In Pottstown: Coroner A 53-year-old man died after the early morning blaze in Pottstown on Thursday, May 30, according to officials.  Bradley Ludwig died from complications of thermal burns and smoke inhalation, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. The manner of death was ruled accidental.  Authorities have said the fire broke out on the fifth floor of the Robert P. Smith Towers, 501 High Street, just after 6 a.m. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
