Hit-Run Badly Injures Bicyclist In Palmer Township: Police
A driver fled the scene of an accident that left a bicyclist with serious injuries, said Palmer police. The victim was struck on South Greenwood Avenue below Charlotte Avenue around 10 p.m. on Tuesday night, July 16, according to authorities. No vehicle description was given. A 41-year-old man has been arrested for causing a crash that led to death or injury and fleeing, West Manchester Township police announced on Wednesday, June 26. Brenor Pluviose of York was wanted on a warrant for the felony charge as well as the summary offense of Fail To Stop And Give Information Or Render Aid since June 20, according to his court docket and as explained by the police. Man In Wheelchair Badly Hurt In Hit-Run Crash In Philadelphia, Police Say
A man in a wheelchair was badly hurt after being hit by a runaway driver early Friday, June 21, Philadelphia police say. The victim was struck near Vine and Franklin streets minutes after midnight, authorities said in a release. The striking vehicle was westbound from the Vine Street bridge when it hit the victim in the middle of the roadway, according to investigators. Driver Wanted For Killing Pedestrian, Fleeing Scene In Northeast Philly: Authorities
City police are looking for the driver in a deadly Philadelphia hit-and-run. Authorities said the car hit a pedestrian on the 1800 block of East Torresdale Avenue just before midnight on May 29. The 44-year-old victim later died from his injuries. The driver fled north on Torredale and was last seen on the 4000 block, according to investigators. Authorities are looking for a driver who fled the scene of an accident in Doylestown. Police said the pictured car hit a parked motorcycle near Chambers Restaurant, 18 N. Main Street, then drove away. It happened around 11 p.m. on May 31, according to officials.
