Amy Valentine's Family Grieves Loss After Fatal Berks Fire After the death of a Berks County mom in an apartment fire, the community has rallied to help her grieving family. Amy Valentine couldn't escape from her burning apartment building in the 3400 block of Kutztown Road in Muhlenberg Township on Friday, Nov. 1, a GoFundMe campaign started by Valentine's daughter, Lexi Shuey, states. "I'm raising funds for my mom's funeral.
