Deadly Shooting Under Investigation In Harrisburg: Police
One man was shot and killed in Harrisburg early Friday, July 5, city police say. Officers responded to gunfire on the 1100 block of North 3rd Street around 1:30 a.m., authorities said in a release. They rendered aid to the victim at the scene and he later died from his wounds, officials wrote. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 717-558-6900. Road Rage Shooting On Rt 222, Berks County Authorities Say
A gunman who shot at another driver near the Berkshire Mall on Monday, July 1 is being sought by police. The road rage incident unfolded on Route 222 in Wyomissing around 12:45 p.m., authorities announced the following day. A driver in a black Honda sedan fired at another vehicle, striking it twice, according to investigators. No one was injured in the shooting. The mugshot of a 34-year-old murder suspect arrested in a New Jersey shooting that rattled a small town has been released. Anthony Garvin, of Netcong, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm and lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, PA, a spokesperson for the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said following the Thursday, June 28 incident. State police in Schuylkill County are looking for a driver who they say shot at another person on the road last Tuesday, May 28. The suspect was in a black, newer model BMW SUV on Schuylkill Mountain Road in South Manheim Township, troopers said.
