Man Killed, Another Hurt While Moving Deer From Road: PA State Police
A 27-year-old man was killed, and another person was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to remove a deer carcass from a roadway in Jackson Township, Mercer County, police announced on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
The crash happened on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 6:30 p.m. on Franklin Road, east of Coolspring Church Road, Pennsylvania State Police in Mercer said in a release.
Daniel H. Johnson, of Jackson Center, was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck, officials said. A second pedestrian was airlifted to St. Elizabeth's Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Tina Aldinger, 64, Of York Killed In Tractor-Trailer Crash
The woman who died after being hit by a tractor-trailer has been identified by the York County Coroner's Office according to an updated release on Thursday, Nov. 7.
Tina Aldinger, 64, of Manchester Township, was pronounced at WellSpan York Hospital at 12:29 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to the York County Coroner's release.
The fatal crash happened on Arsenal Road/Route 30, east of North George Street in Manchester Township around 5:54 p.m., according to the Northern York County Regional Police Department.
