Officers were called to the 1500 block of Guildford Lane on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 8:25 a.m. for a report of a possible structure fire, authorities said. The reason for the layoffs has not been disclosed. FedEx Supply Chain, a subsidiary of FedEx Corporation, specializes in logistics and supply chain management.

York County Man, 55, Dies In Vehicle Fire: Police Authorities are investigating a deadly vehicle fire in Manchester Township.  Northern York Regional police were called to the 2400 block of Pin Oak Drive around 11:50 p.m. Thursday, May 23. They arrived to find a white 1994 GMC Safari minivan fully engulfed in flames.  York Area United Fire and Rescue extinguished the fire and 55-year-old Thomas Rooney was found dead in the van, police said.
