A Fire Police captain who has been missing since Thursday afternoon, Oct. 17 was found dead over the weekend, details were released by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office on Monday, Nov. 4. Tony Bortner, 51, of Windsor's cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and the manner was suicide, the coroner explained in the updated release. One of several Jehovah's Witnesses accused of child sexual abuse has been convicted, the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office announced on Friday, Oct. 1. Equipment rolled off a trailer at an ramp entering Route 222 ramp in Lancaster County on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 29, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation' 511PA traffic cameras. Flames shot out of a chimney in Lancaster County early Monday morning, Oct. 28, fire officials announced. The chimney fire broke out in the 200 block of Center Road in East Drumore Township at 5:42 a.m. while Robert Fulton Fire Company crews were already assisting the Quarryville Fire Company on the scene of a four acre wood fire, officials explained.
