School Bus, Tractor-Trailer Crash Shuts Down Route 15 In South Central PA: Police
A crash involving a school bus and a tractor-trailer shut down U.S. Route 15 in Carroll Township during the morning commute, police announced on Thursday, Jan. 9. The two-vehicle crash was reported around 6:53 a.m. in the area of Route 15 and Spring Lane Road, according to Carroll Township police. No students were hurt in the collision, authorities confirmed. Shot Child Hospitalized, PA State Police Say (

A boy is in the hospital after being shot in Central Pennsylvania, state troopers announced on Monday, Oct. 7. The unnamed child was taken in a private vehicle to Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital in East Pennsboro Township on Sunday, Oct. 6, according to PSP Troopers in Carlisle. The preliminary investigation has led PA State Police to believe the child was shot in Carroll Township, York County, although the investigation remains active. There is no threat to the public, according to PSP. Check back here for updates.

23-Year-Old Man ID'd After Fatal Crash Into Tree: York County Coroner
A 23-year-old man was killed in a crash into a tree, according to an updated release by the York County Coroner's Office on June 12. Daniel Antos Jr., of the 100 block of Twin Hills Road in Franklin Township died at the scene of the crash. Deputy Coroner Michele Kirchner was called to the scene to investigate at 8:03 p.m. and certified the death at 8:45 p.m. on June 5, as detailed in the release.
