Snowmobilers Harass, Repeatedly Run Over Red Fox: PA Game Commission (Video)

Two snowmobilers are accused of harassing a red fox and running it over multiple times in a Lebanon County field, the Pennsylvania Game Commission announced on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

The disturbing incident occurred near the intersection of State Route 501 and Locust Street in Heidelberg Township, Lebanon County on Monday afternoon, Jan. 20, the commission said.

The fox was reportedly chased through the field for over 30 minutes before being struck multiple times by the snowmobiles, according to investigators.

One suspect was operating a black snowmobile with yellow skis, wearing black pants, a black and gray jacket, and a silver metallic helmet. The other was on a black and white snowmobile, dressed in fluorescent orange pants, a black jacket, and a black helmet, authorities said.

Both suspects are believed to reside in the local area, officials noted.
