Berks Thieves Used Stolen Truck To Rip ATM From Ground, Troopers Say State police are investigating a theft from an ATM at a Berks County bank.  The three suspects drove a stolen truck to First Citizens Community Bank in Tulpehocken Township around 3 a.m. on May 6, troopers said in a release.  They pried open the top panel and bottom door of a drive-up ATM, fastened a tow hook and chain inside the door, then accelerated the truck forward to remove the ATM from its concrete base, police said.  Once it was on the ground, they removed the cash from the ATM, according to investigators. 'We'll Never Forget This': Record-Breaking Perch Caught In Chester County A 19-year-old from Berks County set a new state record when he caught a 2-pound, 1-ounce white perch in the Delaware River.  The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission said Christopher Barrett's catch topped the previous state record for white perch, set in 2008.  Barrett and his dad Craig, both of Mohnton, set out in a 20-foot center console fishing boat from the Ridley Township Municipal Marina on April 14 and headed up the river, officials said in a release.  They ended up just below the Commodore Barry Bridge in Chester County and were using heavy-duty spinning rods …

Motorcycle Crash: Police A Berks County dad has died days after a motorcycle crash, the Northern York County Regional Police announced on Wednesday.  Nicholas "Nick" Street, 33 of Mohnton, died at WellSpan York Hospital at 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4 from injuries he suffered following a motorcycle, the NYCRPD detailed.
